hard top bracket
I need to replace the hard top storage brackets. They appear to be pressed on with a rivet of some sort. Do they just need to be drilled out and replaced with a nut and bolt or is there a different way to remove the rivet

The white plastic brackets at the front? Drill out the rivet and replace with a nut and bolt. On my car, those are bolted in, and there is a weld-nut in the trunk wall. I don't remember if there were specific years where they were riveted in.
Can you post a picture, and more information about your car? --DD
