Wire Harness Rubber

Anyone know where to buy the rubber tube that runs from the fire wall (at the tunnel) up through the engine tray. I poked around a little on the prts section but have not been able to locate one.

Thanks,
John

Those aren't available anywhere, for now. I think 914rubberdotcom may have this in the works though. At least I wish they would!

I am new to 914s and do not know if what you need is rubber tube or plastic tubing.
If it is PVC plastic tubing look for an Alpha wire distributor, they have this tubing in several diameters.

This is a formed rubber boot that hooks onto flanges around the body opening and in the engine shelf. It is rubber, and formed as a J shape.

A quick look through the factory catalog didn't turn up an obvious part number for me, either, but a more careful look might turn it up. You can enter the Porsche parts number into the search field in the main part of the Pelican website and get taken to a page for that part, BTW. Which may or may not have enough information to tell exactly what it is...

If you hunt around on the Porsche website (look for "Classic", then "manuals and documentation") you can find a PDF of the factory catalog you can download for free.

I had a NOS wiring harness in my possesion at one time, and I couldn't find a part number on that part (I call it the "chicken neck").

I've messaged 914rubber a few time and asked him to reproduce this part. It would be very cool if he could make it so you can install it on a car without pulling the rear part of the harness.
