Putting on new sail panel vinyl in a week or so. Any tricks or tips that any of you know of about putting these on? Thanks!

Putting the vinyl on is pretty easy. You should first make sure the surface is clean. You need a second person to do the job. We made reference marks on the car and on the bottom part of the vinyl with a pencil. Get some of that 3m spray adhesive. I sprayed all the pcs at the same time. then just have one person line up the reference marks at the bottom and just push the vinyl flat. it should go on pretty easy. After all that's done, just trim off the excess with a razor blade. fyi, make sure you test fit the pcs before you spray them. good luck

When spraying glue on the car portion, just make sure you mask everything else real well; cleaning up unwanted glue can be a real female dog...

Getting ready to do this also, so getting my game plan together.

My new pieces are really oversized. Would it be a good idea to use the old pieces as templates?

I'm just thinking about that super adhesive being on the vinyl and on the car....once it touches, it's pretty much stuck.
