Fuel pressure sensor 1.7L D jet
The fuel lines are not getting enough pressure and I'm not that positive exactly where the vacuum hose from the pressure sensor goes.
Thanks |

vaccum hose goes on to the plenum as I recall on the 1.7. My current car is a 2.0 liter, and it is a bit different plenum, (else i'd go look for you) but same hook up, there should be a port on the plenum for that hose.
this hose picks up the vacuum signal down stream of the throttle body |

I think you may have your fuel lines reversed. The pump line goes to the injectors , then to the side port of the FPR. End port of FPR is a no pressure return line to the tank.

There is no fuel pressure sensor on the D-jet 914s. There is a fuel pressure regulator, which sets the pressure, but no sensor. The regulator is only hooked up to fuel lines, not to vacuum lines.
There is a manifold pressure sensor (MPS), which is the hand-grenade looking thing over on the right side of the engine bay with four wires and one vacuum hose going to it. The vacuum hose goes to the manifold (the plenum). That is the main way D-jet has of telling how much air is going into the motor, and therefore how much fuel it needs to inject. --DD
