Wire trouble still??

Hello again..I cannot find my earlier post "loose wires" did a search but???
so here I am again..I will try these two pics ..both are pics of wires behind gauges. and come from wire harnesses.
pic 1: these are small wires with small slide on connectors one is a blue wire with yellow stripe; one is a black wire with yellow stripe ;....and the last is red/white wire (I know this is power to something)...not sure where these plug in??
pic 2: these are larger wires.. 1 brown(which is always ground unless someone changed...but looks original to me) , the other is grey with red stripe...These are very short from harness.. Not sure where these go?? thanks again to all

Did you ever tell us what year your 914 was?

The wiring diagrams will be a big help.

What year? 4 or 6? And, what isn't working that should be working?

If everything is working, these might be wires put into the harness for
options on a different model. For example, my Nissan Frontier doesn't have fog lights, but I would bet that the wires are there.

The Haynes manual has schematics for the different years, and the wire colors
are marked, but it is a little bit of a pain to use.

more info for wiring...

Oh... good point
1975 car had a 1.8L eng (in parts now..got it that way)... I have a 1.7L installed and runs....I never had this car running on the road, so I am not sure what is not working..right now I have all lights off... I have looked at diagrams..maybe I am missing something(I even colored diagram using colored pencils to make it a little easier)???... I would think those small connectors only reach so far to something??? I was able to replace the L fuel Inj system to the D-system.. in eng compartment area ..all wire connections would go so far and then I checked wiring diagrams for color and did continuity test to relay board ,etc.....Thanks

Disclaimer: I'm looking at the 74 diagram, because that's what is conveniently available (on the Pelican site) and also because I'm more familiar with 74s than 75s.

The closest I can see to blue/yellow is blue/white. That goes to the turn signal indicator in the tach.
I see three black/yellow wires. One goes from the brake switch (on the pedal cluster) to the brake lights. Another goes from the fuse box down to the brake switch. The third goes from the horn relay on top of the fuse box to the horn.
The red/white wires provide switched power, most often to the instruments but also to other things.

I'm not seeing a white/red wire anywhere on the diagram.
