record breaking brake conversion

well i just set a record breaking brake conversion

in 8 hours

i changed to a 19 mm master cylinder and up graded to 320 i calibers

that includes rebuilding the pedal cluster changing the master cylinder, painting the calibers after rebuilding, wire brushing, baking painted cailbers in the oven for an hour and installing them

you can even us the old hard lines if you are careful but have a spare ready just in case

for those who are doing this conversion split the calibers for machining it took 20 min to machine them just clamp on the split face vertically and do both faces at the same time and it even makes sure they are true

i will post pics of the calibers later

the problems i had were ....

i broke the break light switch

lost the gas pedal rod ( thank god for parts car on both )

and after i had every thing mounted i went to install the brake
pads that i ordered from PP and for some strange reason it had feredo 914 pads in a 320 i pagid box so wayne i will be calling

have fun and believe me rebuild you pedal cluster my brake pedal was sticking abd i did not even know it i had to beat it out
