Cooling Tin Part #?
Is there a part no. stamped anywhere on the top tin w/ the spark plug holes? I want to be able to recognize the different plug angle for the 2 ltr heads w/o having both styles side by side.

You don't need a part number. There is a flat part on top of the head, and a vertical part that comes down to seal to the head at the rocker box. The 914/2.0 tin has the holes in this vertical part, while the rest have the holes in the flat horizontal part.
