71 914 Driver seat won't move

Hi Guys,
Just bought my first 914. 1971 Signal Orange with weber carbs. I have had many 911's. I must say it is a fun little car. I am trying to pull out the driver seat and I can't get it to move. It has only one lever on the side by the E brake handle and it just seems to let me rock the seat up and down a small amount. I can't find a second lever to move it forward and back. I read a few post's here but no answer for my situation. Is it possible it is missing the front/back adjustment loop/lever? Did some of these not slide forward and back? Either way just want to get it off the tracks and out. Cant find any way to do it. Please help!
Thanks
steve

seats

most 914 have a seat adjust lever (usually on the right driver side and on the passenger left side) this makes the seat go front to back. if the handle ring is missing (and some break) you may have to improvise with a screwdriver to lift it up without the handle.
the handle next to the e-brake adjusts the up and down motion of the seat. some early models did not have this for the passenger side, only the driver side. passenger side was fixed.
usually when they get stuck -can't move it front to back ---a long screwdriver inserted in the rail to lift up the slide pin attached to the seat rail will allow the pin to come up and then with the lever--- lift up the handle to allow release of adjust lever pin to allow seat to slide all the way forward for removal.
if you get down and stare into the rail with a flashlight it helps see what sticking.
