The bolts that hold the fan onto the hub are usually M8 triple square. Same as the CV joints. Try the right tool; tap it in. If that doesn't work, you'll need to drill it out.

yopu might be able to wedge a straight bladed driver hooked up to a hammer impact driver, You may have to custom grind the driver a bit to fit best.

stand the motor on the flywheel to he driver isn't fighting gravity and give that a go, the impact driver seeing as it is slamming into the bolt may be able to bit. it is amazing what a little impact can do. Id give that a go first, failing that drill and an EZ Out tool.

An over night soak in penatrating oil can help in the succes of the removal. also careful use of an acetylene torch on the bolt head, followed by quenching, then repeat can also help if they is rusted on hard.

A hammer operated impact driver is a very very handy tool. great for removing stuck stuff, used just last week to remove the rusted on rear drum screws on the 914, regular screw drivers, even with leverage could not loosen them, the screw head would spit out the regular drivers each tim, with the hammer impact driver they were loosened up on the first wack. with no slipage or further tearing of the previusly damaged slot in the screw head.

best of luck to you.

if the right tool doesnt work you can usually hammer in a hex socket or torx. or if you can get in there with a dremel you can cut a slot in it and use an impact driver.
