Used parts from PParts?

I thought P Parts sold some used parts? I asked about some A/C vents and was told they don't sell used parts.

I came across this as well last year. I think its just a matter of some web references are not completely current.

Anyhow, I have a car I'm pulling the AC off of if your interested, and it has the interior vents, but no hoses.

We used to sell "pre-owned" parts, and the web site reflects that point in time. However, the profit margin on them is really pretty small--and it costs a good chunk of money to keep them. (We gotta get them, transport them, inventory them, and then they take up space that could otherwise be used for new parts.)

The upshot was that it wasn't worthwhile to keep most of the used parts around. We sold them as a single lot. There are still a few onesie-twosie things around, but some of those are parts that will be going on a Pelican's car or someone's personal parts.

...Besides, new parts are better for your car!
