FYI there's a web online auction site called crankyape.com that is listing a red 1970 914-6 convertible for sale. No affiliation for me. Just FYI for fix and repair or parts. About 20 miles from my home town of Hastings, Minn. Ray

Must admit I'm not familiar with 914 prices. The car sold today for $20,101. Granted it's a 6 cylinder open top. Is this a lot for a car that's not running? Thanks, Ray

6's are the car to buy/restore. Really nice examples reportedly yield $40-50k . The one posted needs some work, no doubt, and would seem to be a nice "driver" with a little work.
