rust on the floorboards
im getting some rust on my floorboards, actualy, theres more rust than floor
![]() living in south florida, salt is everywhere esp on the ground which makes it to my shoes which makes it to my floor! in the future i was thinking of stripping the car down to bare chassis and sandblasting the whole damn thing and then getting galvinised like they do for boat trailers. it only cost $500 i learned. does this seem like a good idea? heck i wouldnt even need to paint it after that ![]() |

for the floorboards, you may have to first peel/pick off the tar-board. once you can get at the rust, i would hit it with por15 or coroless to stop it from growing then bodywork the holes away.
