rust on the floorboards

im getting some rust on my floorboards, actualy, theres more rust than floor

living in south florida, salt is everywhere esp on the ground which makes it to my shoes which makes it to my floor!

in the future i was thinking of stripping the car down to bare chassis and sandblasting the whole damn thing and then getting galvinised like they do for boat trailers. it only cost $500 i learned.
does this seem like a good idea?
heck i wouldnt even need to paint it after that

for the floorboards, you may have to first peel/pick off the tar-board. once you can get at the rust, i would hit it with por15 or coroless to stop it from growing then bodywork the holes away.
