Turn signal
My turn signals work, however...the turn signal dash light is doing something weird. When I click the stalk for a right turn the dash light blinks normally. When I use the left signal the dash light blinks just once then quits. Like I said the exterior lights (turn signals) function normally. Any ideas??
Thanks in advance Keith

Mine has a simmilar problem, I attribute mine to the aftermarket steering wheel though, the triggers don't work on the self cancelation. But as long as they work on the outside I'm not too worried.

On my 74 the outsides work fine and the gauge light goes on but doesn't blink.

My turn signals worked outside but the light inside would flash
bright the first time and then both of the interior turn signal lights would flash at the same time but real dim. A used turn signal relay from a swap meet that I paid $2 for fixed mine. Jim |

Hey Dave I've heard the turn signal assembly of a 924 will work. Seems like I read that on some previous post. You might want to do a search for that. How do those lugs I sent you look on your car. Post a pic so we can all see your little beauty

are you sure the left turn signal bulb isn't blown out. turn signals will sometimes act funny if a bulb is blown. if that ain't it, I'd try a new turn signal switch, but I'm no expert. Mine wouldn't work at all and I replaced everything and it turned out to be the turn signal switch itself. good luck

The turn signals on a 74 use a single indicator that is triggered by contacts in the top of the turn signal relay. The relay is dependent on the proper loading to make the indicator light flash. If one boub is out, the light in the dash won't work. If one side is working correctly and the other is not, it will not be the relay. If your tail light is wired incorrectly, it will look like it's working OK from the outside, but there won't be the proper loading on the circuit, and the indicator won't work.
Things to check. 1. Make sure that you have the correct bulbs in both the front and rear turn signals. 2. Check the wiring on the turn signal housings. Make sure the correct bulb is flashing.
