fuel tank, filter, pump pumbing.
What size fuel line is the question???. The outflow nipple of the tank is 8mm. The fuel filter nipples are 8mm. The input of the pump is 12mm. ----- WHAT 12 MM?????---- Then the outflow of the pump goes back to 8mm. Is there a filter available that has different size nipples on either end?

Yup. 12mm sounds too large for the early pumps, you must have a 75-76. I believe that the filter has one 8mm fitting and one 12mm fitting.
One of the filters available for the earlier cars has a 7mm fitting and a 9mm fitting. The other early setup uses a 9->7 adaptor hose, which is rather expensive... The filter is the easier way to go on that. --DD
