Cool i'm the new guy




Hey all, Waz up my name is Mark and i am excited to say that i just inherited my Moms 74 914 2.0 and am very excited If any of you have any helpful hints on restoration please let me know am looking for hints to make it look new once again also I am looking for a book that is called PORSCHE 914 AND 914/6 BY BRIAN LONG if any of you might know where i can get it please let me know i would greatly appreciate it....

PS my break lights do not work and my blinkers work on the outside but do not work in the dash if any of you might know what is wrong please let me know thank you once again

Welcome!

Your problems are common ones. First, always check and clean the fuses before doing any electrical work (low hanging fruit).

For the brake lights, there is a switch mounted on the pedal cluster (under the floorboard). Check for corrosion or bad adjustment on this switch.
