Anyone know what body kit this is?

Hi everyone. Does anyone have ANY idea what kind of kit this is: Body Kit I've looked through as many 914 body kits as I could find, in the past, and have never come across this one.

Bond,

I too came across this car on ebay, I concluded that it was a 911 cabrio photo that was mistakenly attached to the 914 auction.

I was wondering about that one myself. At first it looks like the wrong photo, but it you look really close the seats and back pad look 914ish. Plus its a little squatty for a 911. Too bad they didn't include any other photos.

I emailed the guy, but have never received a response. The front end looks pretty good (sort of like a 959), and it's really making me wonder what the rest looks like. Hehe, it almost looks like a "micro machine" 911!

i like the "new floor, no rust" isn't that an oxymoron? that would def. be a car to look at closely prior to bidding. no side shots, makes you wonder what you can't see.

Looks like one of those "the farther away the better it looks" pictures.

Maybe 959's are depreciating so much they must be marketed as custom 914's

Question is this the same car?

Is the picture you posted the same car as the one on ebay? Same kit but different car? it looks identical. Is it another picture of the same car?

It is the same car that is on eBay. The seller's wife sent some pictures to me. I'm waiting for the seller to call me so that I can find out more about the car.

Didn't/doesn't "Beach Boys Racing" (Venice Calif) specialize in 911 and roadster/speedster-look conversions like that? Might be one of theirs.

WOW!!!

Thats the nicest kit I've seen in a while! I wouldn't be ashamed to drve that! I bet the reserve is $12-15,000. Wonder if it has any engine upgrades

I immediately thought about BBR when I saw the car as well. There are quite a few similarities with the BBR kits I've seen before. But, I've never seen that headlight treatment.

I'm not sure what has been done to the engine. It is listed as a 4cyl-2.4. From the pics I have, I can see that it does have carbs.

What ever kit that is, it was nicely done. I wonder if he made the air inlets on the engine compartment functional? That would definitely take care of any "low-pressure areas" above the stock engine air inlet.

Okay, That's just not right! What were they drinking when they got that idea?

It's like a really tallented doctor out of control with a mutated life form...

Though with it you could get away with any crime. One witness will state it was a 911 coming at them and the other will state it was a 914 leaving... The perfect getaway car!

Just joking

The auction ended on the car. Anybody have the web address to BBR. I searched and nothing came up. I really like this kit!

Neither site has the kit you're looking for; maybe it's no longer "en vogue".
