That looks pretty nice, especially for 3K. That's one of my favorite 914 colors. Any idea why it was restored and then left to sit? I got my 914 from North Carolina. Must be something in the air down there.

That looks like a hell of a car for 3K. A very good buy if it is as solid underneath as it appears to be on top. Good luck.

The owner passed away right towards the end of finishing. It is very solid and new everywhere.

That's an LE front spoiler. If it's OEM it's worth big money to someone restoring a Bumble Bee or Creamsicle. Check the backside of it for a factory part number. You could get enough for it to buy a new set of tires for the car.

Regardless, looks like a nice find.

Yes it is a 1970. i dont know if the spoiler is oem but i have a new set of tires that came with the car and another front spoiler as well a many boxes of parts that i have no idea of what they are. I do need a speedo and a center console. been thinking of making my own console.

For the console, try go to 914world and poke around, there is a guy up in Oregon who makes consoles and enclosures to replace the dinky little speakers in there stock

Many of the 914s didn't come with center consoles. Also, the 70-72 version is a smaller one without gauges. It is pretty much just a box you can put stuff in; the back side of the box (the part facing the driver and passenger is open.

Not saying you shouldn't put a later-style console in; just letting you know what might have originally been there.

Oh, I like that car! Very like the 914-6 my sweetie owned and loved. Same color, too. Wish we still had that.

I hope to see this car at sometime as I am not all that far away. Bought mine for $1500 but was in boxes.
