That is about what I am running
I did have Euro pistons but was forced to change over to U.S. spec. Sort of broke one. BUT I run 44IDF's SSI Bursch and a 290 duration 500 lift cam. Don't know how fast it will go but I did pull 5800 RPM in 5th gear and still had more umph to go.

Pretty crazy cam for a street car.
I think Webcam listed that cam as .512 lift. If the valve springs can take it, that cam will pull to 6400 with no problem. B |

Yea !!!!
Well the car has dual valve springs. Let my knuckle head brother drive. I watched him tach out at 6K + in 3rd. and I didn't hear no valve float. He won't be in my car NO MORE!!!

I have used that same combo in 914's in the past.
With a little bit of gas pedal and side stepping the clutch, it should "haze" a 195/50/15 with no problem. Haze meaning .. light smoke with somebody watching. Rev to 4500 and sidestep the clutch. B |
