Do you want to make a replica of a 914-6 GT? Or do you want a modern re-interpretation of the 914-6 GT? Or just a super zoomy fast 914?

For tons of photos of original GTs, see: 914-6 GT's Photo Galleries at pbase.com

Describe your goals and we'll try to point you to good parts.

Welcome and have fun on your build. I agree that you might find more information on 914World.com to assist you in your project. I would use both sites however.

I not have exactly idea !!! I would make one car more racing, Porsche, and a little bit earlyer but not super earlyer.

The steering wheel for example I have one momo in good leader turned and more racing, and the seats for example I have two Sparco Rev and I would mount this.

The only idea I have closed is the color of the car and I would this, and what code think is ?????? :

Max & Moritz used "Conda Green" (Condagrün in German) for their race cars:

914World.com - The largest online 914 community

The color code is "26G" ...

I thought the Conda was darker? In that picture on my monitor, it looks somewhat more like Zambesi Green. (This assumes the car is a "tribute" car or a replica or has been repainted, not an original Moritz car with original paint.)

Maybe Conda isn't darker... Caparc USA LLC, Costa Mesa CA, USA: Specialists in early Porsche & other sports cars.

It does still look different, though. Might be the lighting. The Zambesi does look a little darker than the above.

Engine mounts

Their are 2 preferred engine mounts for 914/6 conversions. One is from Patrick Motorsports and one from Rich Johnson. Patrick is a restoration and racing shop in Arizona that has developed a mount that makes engine intallation and removal significantly quicker than than with the original 916/6 engine mount or the Rich Johnson type mount. The Rich Johnson mount is a very sound design as well and Rich is great guys to deal with. You can find both mounts easily. Here is a pic of Rich's. Our host sells the this part. You can Google Patrick Motorsports and find their information. Good luck with you car!

There is a very complete 914-6 GT project in Excellence Magazine.
The final chapter of this project was published on August 2011.
This is the last page of the August 2011 article.

That steering wheel is aftermarket.

Zambesi green is color code L64K on 914s.

Viper Green (as a 911 color) is listed as color code 249 in one place, and as "3810/3838 Emerald Green (Viper) [code] 225" in another.
There's also a Viper Green Metallic, code L96N, for 914s.
Oh, and Dave Pateman says elsewhere on this BBS:
"for Viper Green:
225 is Porsche's color number, and the code used from 1972 to 1983
38 is the color code used in 1970 & 1971
I have not found the Auxillary Code for this color."

Conda Green was a 911 color, and one source says:
"2610/2626 Conda Green [code] 222"
And a source from elsewhere on this BBS says:
"26G, 222, 2626 conda-grün 1970-1971
1970 E Conda green

1970 code 222
1971 code 2626"

I found those through Google.

While that is true, there was at least one 914 that was painted Conda Green by the factory and has the tag to proof it.
It was tagged "26G" and *not* "98" as one would assume for a custom Porsche color.

However, that car was delivered to a special customer, so i'm not surprised that it got special treatment.

This is a 911 GT3RS Cup Momo steering wheel so a Cup Car was delivered with this wheel & horn button. There was one for sale here a few months back..

Gary Stratton, of Stratton Motorsports
(407)421-1911
Welded on the flares & got the paint codes (including for the front bumper) from the guy who owns the real GT of same color, including bumper..

a little hard to navigate the site but its all there.

as well as looking on E-bay world wide under (Porsche 914/6 GT) Parts seem to show up at odd times . Badm
