Good 914 vanity plate numbers

When I first got my teener, I was thinking of "NOTAVW" for a plate
but a 356 guy I know said " but it IS a VW". Now that I've bought all these PORSCHE parts at PORSCHE prices, I really don't want to
get into the whole NARP argument with anybody.... but I still
thought this was a good one....also thought of "2TRUNX" Anybody seen or thought of other good ones?

Just ordered some a few weeks ago. They don't really have that much to do with porsche or 914's (well maybe a little), it's SYPH or translated: Shut Your Pie Hole. Now if only all the NARP and rice burners could figure out what it stands for.

You guys just reminded/inspired me to order up my new plate.

I was going to go with NARP-RSR but it sounded a little to obscure. 914RSR was already taken.

So I went with --

914 R

It's kind of more fitting for my car as-is anyway: it's a relatively low-powered, lightweight, narrow-body, no-frills specimen in the flavor of the 911R; whereas the 911RSR cars were significantly more powerful and "bloated" (at least in terms of body/aero work etc.)

Heh... I hope that the 356 guy knows that his car is closer to a VW Bug than yours...

BTW, my fave vanity plate for a 914 is one that I have seen: "BUG GUTZ".

Ain't nothin' wrong with VWs!!

when I was an undergraduate as UNC-CH, my plate was WHYDUKE? Of course, now I know the answer. How about WYBOXTR?

My Ravenna 914 has: INDMIDL

That's IN-D(the)-MIDL(middle), not I-ND(need)-MI(my)-DL(drivers license).

Others I've had/considered:

LUKINUP (targa top always off)
ICSKY (ditto)
KULBREZ
HOTBREZ (for us AZ folks)
TAXI42
2FUN4U
GOCART
GOCART42

Enjoy!

I like BAHNZII

There is a photo of a 914 in that How to Restore & Modify book with this plate on an autox course.

Or is it BAHNZAI.....don't remember now.
