clutch cable replacement
Which clutch cable would you guys recommend as a replacement for a '75 1.8L car, Terry cable or any other? I heard that a 6er cable is a little closer fit, but I don't know for sure.
Thanks. ![]()

Terry all the way.
We run nothing else in our cars (except hydraulic clutches) B |

woodman,
I second Brad on the Terry cable. I've used these on the two running 914's I've owned, and never had a problem except the one cable I got with the rubber boot (for the fire-wall) on backwards. No sweat! Enjoy,

Go with the Terry. If you don't want to do that, get a factory OE cable (if you can find one). The cheap aftermarket ones are crap.

is the cost warranted for the upgrade on the throttle cable too? the wet season has started. now i have an explaination for working on the car instead of the 2 acres.

Thanks guys. I'm doing the throttle cable (Terry cable again??) and fuel lines to in a couple of weeks. I'm just trying to gather all the correct materials first. It's going to be a full on attack on that center tunnel. Oh yeah, shift linkage too, and while everything is out, I'll swab the inside of the tunnel with some rust preventative paint.
