How do you remove the pad behind the seats? I removed the screws on the bottom but it is still tight are there more fastners somewhere?

There should be four (I think) screws along the bottom.
Then you have to unscrew the handle for the trunk release. (edited instructions due to excessive alcohol consumption. Mistakes corrected by a slap across the head from Brad) Then you have to pull the bottom of the pad out and then pull the pad down.. The pad has metal tabs attached to it that sort of hook UP into receptacles on the firewall. This keeps the top of the pad from moving forward. (end of edits) Hope this helps. Regards,

You have to pull out the bottom of the pad and then down.
The hooks go UP into the tabs on the chassis. He will rip them off the cardboard backing if he pulls up on it. B |

I stand corrected. Maybe it was the Jim Beam talking.
You're right. I'll edit my original message.
