temp guage hookups
I have a VDO temp guage and the wiring instructions do not match the guage itself. The instructions show 3 pairs of connections but the guage only has two. The top connections are on black plastic and unmarked and the lower connections are marked + and ground. what goes where? I looked at a VDO vaccume guage and its only connection is the upper one. I am assuming that this is the power connection and it is the same on the temp guage. The best i can figure is that from the top the connections are ground, power +, sending unit -, sending unit +. Is this correct? Also I noticed that the upper connection can turn so how do I know if it is still right side up or does it matter? thanks
