Hose on 1.8.
Hi, all.
I have a '75 1.8L. There is a piece of ~3/4" hose about 8" long going from the oil filler neck to that tube between the air box and throttle body. I'd like to replace this hose. Since the distance is relatively short and the hose is respectively large, it's tough to make the s-shaped bend with a new piece of straight hose without mashing the hose flat in the two bends. For replacement, is this piece available as an s-shaped formed hose? Or how has someone used a straight piece without crushing it in the corners? I can't tell if the stock one is a formed piece or if it's just a straight one that's doing a great job of holding the shape it's been in for 25 years. The ends are all dried up and cracked. The splits in it run in about an inch so I think it's time for a new one. Thanks for your help. --Case....

if you don't mind a 'plumber's delight' try copper pipe sweated with 90 degree ends, attached at the very ends with a short section of prnner hose. You can also replace the 90's with rubber pcv valve boots if you have a flaps with a good selection.
