Interior light
Is there a cure for the fairly common heat warping that causes the plastic lens assembly of the interior light on the upper back pad to bow in the middle? What is the recommended wattage for the "bullet-type" bulb that is used? Maybe mine is too hot.

Here is what my 75 manual says:
Headlight 60/50 W (6014) Fog 35 W stop 32/3 cp (1034) Turn 32 cp (1073) Back-up 25 W INTERIOR LIGHT 10 W Parking 5 W Luggage and licence 4 W Instrument 2W Control lamps 1,2 and 2 (I have NO idea what these are for) Side marker 2 cp (1895) W=watts cp= candle power (maybe?) the # in () is a part number I guess |

I checked with Pelican and they confirm there are some cheap VW style replacements out there. PP is currently back-ordered on this item but they expect new stock in about a week and will send me one. I will assume that I got a low quality aftermarket part.
