rear trunk adjustment?
OK so I am restoring a 914 and just installed the rear trunk, hinges, and springs with new rollers.
The trunk works fine, but the edge closest to the engine bay is a bit high. I checked for broken spot welds on the hinge mounts and there are none YEAH! the hinge has a sliding metal bar the slips over a pin on the sidewall, and a bolt on the hinge. Is this to allow adjusting the height of the trunk surface? I have searched for some guidance, but only found quotes that there is no way to adjust ![]() any and all help is greatly appreciated!

Be very sure that the welds really aren't broken . you did the rollers ... good call as they help stop
the binding that can cause that breakage. I messed with that slotted bar for days . it seems as it should be adjusting . but i had weld issues . Once fixed I was adjusted correctly . The only other thing that would change the height of the lid are worn bolts .
