Porsche Crest 75 2.0l Engine Compartment Finishes (X-Post)

I'm thinking of having the engine sheet metal, air cleaner housing and intake runners either Jet Hot Coated or Powder coated.

What's the correct color and gloss level?

Tin = "Universal (semi flat) Black"?
Intake runners = "grey"?

Not concors just a "correct" at a glance type deal.

"Whatever makes you happy."

The tin is generally satin or semi-gloss black. The intake runner pipes seem to be a flat light-grey, though some/all of the flat-ness may be wear.

Come to think of it, the runners are usually half-flaked-off flat grey.

Lighter colors throw the light around pretty well (easier to find dropped parts and such). They also look better.... For about 10 minutes, until they get dirty. Then you realize that you can't see most of the dirt against the black.
