AS of today I have 104 E-mail address of 914 ,s in the Mid West.

We should have no problem getting 40 to 50 914 attending from the amount

I think it would be a bit more appropriate to "sticky" it closer to the actual date.... What do we have now, 8 months to go??

I would normally agree with you but most of us are snow bound this time of year. Were not basking in the sun and driving our teeners to work during the week and the Auto Cross or track on the weekend. Were buying snow tires and heating our houses. The event could use a little more time infront of the board. Lets give Barber Dave a fighting change to draw in a few more of us to a worthy cause and great event.

Congratulations Dave for all your hard work putting this event together. Our Michigan group had about (12) cars attend with (3) of them being original 914-6s. We estimate our little 914 group has 1/2 of 1% of the total 914-6 world production in our S.E. Michigan group (do the math). Of course we also have the other low life 4 cyl. types (including mine). Looking forward to next years event. Tom HIPO-2L Mich.

Great job Dave. Yours was the first event I attended. Good to see so many nice 914's all in one spot. I also discovered that Tom from Plymouth had more than work in common. Looking forward to 2003 event. Maybe a short drive around town as a group would be fun.

Hi All,
It's a small world, Jim & I have been working on construction projects for many years & when he drove up in his black 914 we pointed a finger at each other "Hey I Know You". I wonder how many others work with 914 owners without knowing about their 914 hobby?? I will try to post some of my pictures later or as soon as I figure out how. Anyone else have any more pictures to post??

Hmmm... I just checked the website out. The next meet isn't until August, which is 7 months away. That's a long time to leave a note "stuck" to the top of the list. Unless there is a huge call for it, I think I will un-stick this thread next week.

Please post another announcement for the August event in June or July or so, and we'll get the "sticky" bit set again.

Dave; Many thanks for the sticky . I will be in touch with you the end of June about it again. It helped a lot, our potental attendies list has grown from 42 after the 2002 meet to 99 as of today.
