Off topic but cool story
I like Porsches. I also like old stuff in general, so the other day I was talking to a 54-year old friend of mine ( sort of a wealthy twit type) who used his father's influence to get a deal on a 1978 MGB
and drove it 4000 miles that summer and just parked it. It's wrapped in plastic ( he has OCD) and there it sits in a storage garage. Now he wants to sell it. I haven't seen it yet, but this is definitely concours material. He made some noises about selling the car about 6 or 7 years ago, and he had all kinds of ideas about how valuable it was going to be, but since it's a rubber-bumper car, he kind of got discouraged. he says he paid 7K back then, and says "it's gotta be worth 10K" but it told him what happens to cars that just sit there for 20 years, and he understood that it would need some work. This might be the lowest mileage MGB in the country. Where would you sell something like this? ![]()

I hate to say it, but Ebay comes to mind. There is a big MG club in the US as well.
