Ebay six conversion
Aside from this looking like a very nice car I have a couple of questions
What are the two boxes hanging vertical in this picture? possible HID headlights? Is this a full carpet kit for the trunks? Is this available? Is the seller on the board? Last edited by echocanyons; 02-15-2003 at 07:29 PM.. |

It looks like the car Patrick Motorsports has on their site under Cars For Sale.
www.patrickmotorsports.com If he did the work, its probably done right, although I don't believe Jim usually cuts the trunk bulkhead out to get the CIS to fit. Regards,

Nice car ! But I figure listing a car on E-Bay is worth 15 hp,
On E- Bay it said 160 hp, list on Pattrick Motor Sports 145 hp . If I list my car On E-Bay Twice can I pick up 30 hp??????? Just an Idea!!!!!!!! Dave ![]() ![]()

It looks possible that the boxes in the front trunk are ballasts for real HID lights. Could be something else, as well.
The fog lights look like the typical Pep BoyZZ "pimple lights". I don't know of any kits available that let you fully-carpet the rear trunk like that. Though I don't think it would be that hard to do... I'm pretty sure this is custom work, particularly since it follows the cutout for the CIS. --DD

It looks like a very nicely done car.
If the reserve is realistic, it would be a good car for some one contemplating a conversion. There seems to be an upper limit of 15/16k for a "normal" conversion. That would be (WAG) about .50 on the dollar for the investment here.

I had a 914 that had the same carpet as this car. The problem is if it gets wet, the carpet being glued down, is a mess and the water gets under the carpet and stays there and it can get rusty.
I would not do that myself or if I bought one I would remove it. Craig

We in the NW have a few problems that those in AZ don't have, the biggest of which is : everything is wet and green, ideal habitat for the tin worm.
