HELP !!!
the two Philips head screws (on the rotor hats) are next to impossible to remove, are there any trick to this ? Thanks.

You will need an impact screw driver. That is a big screw driver that you hit with a hammer and it turns the screw.

Try Sears or Advance Auto Parts for the Impact driver - about $25 both places. I bought a Craftsman and it popped those screws easily.
Before that I thought I would have to drill them out... Grant 1989 944S2 |

There is an easy way to do this. I used the lug wrench in my tool kit. there is a hole in the side of the hollow bar with the sockets on either end. put the hole in the side over one of the wheel studs. use a vise grip on the handle of your screwdriver and you should be able to loosen the screw. The hollow bar will prevent the rotor from turning. I'll try to create a rough sketch if that will help.
