87 944s option code 981 ?
Option code 981 indicates Leather Equipment. The seats and wheel are leather but what else would be leather under this code ?

I have one with a leather stitched center console and arm rests on the doors instead of the usual plastic. There are a number of other places that are also leather instead of vinyl with the full leather option though I think it changed with model and year.
