Sunroof Screw

I've got another question, while I'm on a roll. My interior sunroof panel is missing the screw found near the rear view mirror. I think the screw is #20 with cap #22. Any ideas where I may locate one or does anyone know the correct size/thread? Thanks!

That's so cool, didn't know you could view the diagrams like that. I'm always just typing in the part number and searching.

I have all sorts of interior screws available from the 944 I'm turning into a hot rod. I can send it to you with the cap and washer for $2.50.

Actually all mine are very dark red/burgundy. I'm missing a few black ones myself on my 924S. I think I've seen them here on Pelican Parts, though.

Careful if you are messing around with these screws. Apparently the screws holding the black trapezoidal plate are adjustable and control when the motor stops running when closing. I tightened some things up I thought were loose and now my sunroof is bonkers.

There must be a way to adjust them.

Isn't there only one screw to secure the interior liner to the sunroof panel?
I think I'll post a picture when I have a chance...

Here is what I'm talking about; the center hole is obviously missing the mystery screw

I think that you are just missing the cap. That hole contains an adjuster for the front sunroof limit switch.

The missing screw etc. holds the trim panel in place (items 20, 21, 22 in the diagram).

The other three screws are for the limit switch adjustment.

I'm not sure there's a screw there... my old sunroof liner had something missing there and the mint replacement I found just had all the caps IIRC

It appears that there should be a screw as the liner droops a bit but looks perfect when I push the liner up. Would anyone know the size thread/pitch? Thanks.

Sorry to bring this back up but my '84 NA 944 is missing the exact same thing... did you ever figure out what it was?
