Replacing front shocks
I have 944 85.5 with factory KONI oilfilled shock absorbers that have separate parts.
What would be a suitable replacement shock absorber? And will this be a drop-in replacement? Looks like this . . . ![]() |

You have a choice of Sachs, Koni or Bilstein inserts, all will simply drop in. Sachs are the same as stock and are the cheapest.

Thanks, could you give an itemnumber that I could use as a reference for diameter and length between the different brands?

Just call our host here Pelican, tell them the make, model and year of you car and they will give you item numbers, prices and explain all your options. The phone number is on the top right of this webpage.
