944 Timing belt tensioning tool P9201
I just purchased both the tensioning tool and the calibration bar. Well the accursed thing came OEM. After sitting back for a couple of minutes and wondering how something so small could cost 400$ Then seeing "made in Germany" and saying "oh,". I got on the net thinking I could find the correct settings produced by the calibration bar, The correct tension for the timing belt, and where "exactly " to place it on the timing belt. Well alas I failed in my quest and since the purchase of the tool left me quite broke I am somewhat desperate for this information. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Wow, most of us just dream about owning that tool. Go to geocities.com/MotorCity/Garage/3192
And look there. There is a place there that goes through all of the steps and specifications to do this job. |
