88 Turbo S for 14K?
I haven't seen it yet but it's a 1 owner 45K mileage car, supposedly in great condition with all maintenace. (Champagne/burgandy). What do you guys think about the price?

With documented maintenance, and it being close to concours condition, and if it can pass a PPI, sure.

Sound pretty good to me. Like af said though, get it PPI'd 1st. 14k may just be the tip of the iceberg.

A friend of mine here in NJ is looking to get around $11k for his '88 951S. Well maintained, but needs a little cosmetic work to be perfect. (door dings and such). But the engine/drivetrain/suspension...etc. is fine.
Just to give you an idea of the going rate. -Z.

Come on guys, this thing only has 45K miles, sure it'll need a good bit of maintenance if the guy hasn't already done so(I doubt it due to the mileage), but sheez only 45K; WOW! Good price if good ppi.

low milage cars are great and all -- I USED to own one myself. However, some times the cars are not driven enough IMHO. Also seals, belts, and hoses can run into an 'age' thing and still need to be replaced regardless of miles. This car will most likely need a water pump soon and belts (if they haven't been done already) -- brakes will be comming up before too long -- check the maintenance history and definately have a PPI done.
