AC drain not working Raining inside my car.
Apparently the drain plug for the A/C is plugged up because its not draining outside but inside my car. Its so bad now after using the AC this week when I turn on the AC its literally raining inside my car. Water is gushing out of the defrost vents and the front vents. How do I get to the plug from inside the car. n. I tried from the bottom but that hasnt worked. Can someone send me a how to on how to remove the dash to get to the drain tube. Thanks in advance.

The water drain tube on my 924S is by the passenger, left foot side. If this is the same as your turbo or parts car check the tube for kinks and blow some compressed air in the drain tube. One member who works a shop also blows air into the AC via the drain to clear blockage for a quick fix. I DO NOT prefer to do this because you are shoving more crap deeper into the cooling fins. Use as a last resort. I took a 1/4 inch poly tube and clamped it to a bigger rubber tube to fit a shop vacuum hose, carefully inserted into the AC drain and sucked out the dirt, condensation and probably bits of the the dry rotted filter fitted under the intake screen. This thin sheet filter just keeps the big chunks out and should be checked and replaced.

The screen is glued/bonded to the underside interior AC air intake where the squirrel cage is. Passenger side by right foot toes. Again this is on a 924S. This is a good access point to vacuum nearby crud out after you get to the rear drain fitting on your turbo.

I had this problem, too. I found my drain behind the radio. I had my friend hold a flashlight while I wiggled a bent hanger and just kept ramming it through there. Also, the small rubber piece that connects the bottom drain and top drain seems to be easy to clog, as that was the actual culprit.
Good luck...

I just went through this with my 87 today. pull the carpeting from the front of the console on the right side. You will see the drain tube. You can pull it up through the floor board. blow some compressed air into the drain. be prepaired to stuff it back fast as the water will come out quick.
