Is there any way to get trouble codes out of the computer?

Sorry but there is no way to get codes from such an early car. The only way to diagnose dme problems is
To use a good meter and do a pin test from a DME test plan. It’s not hard just take your time. Ptech. |

My Haynes manual goes untill 1989 and it doesn't mention any codes for any of the years. I've never heard of a pin test. What does it tell you and how do you do it?
