1989 944s2 Non-LSD transaxle code AOS

Hello,
I am looking for some input or advise on making my Transaxle code (AOS) to Limited Slip. I have been trying to research this subject and I am not having much luck finding out how feasible this is? Can I install a LSD pack such as Wavetrac, Quaife or Guard without to much of a headache. Is the process of installing an LSD into my Transaxle Code AOS as easy as “Plug and Play” ?
The Transaxle is out and opened up but I wanted to reach out to the Pelican Parts community on how to proceed. Hopefully I can get some valuable input on this topic.

Thank you

Get a shop to install it for you.

You have set preload on the bearings which requires shims to get right, plus the lash on the R&P.

It is definitely not a plug and play. I service these transaxles and carry parts for them. I have factory LSD units as well. I recommend an experienced mechanic to swap the diff.
