 Overhaul manual

Patrick, What is the "shop, overhaul manual" you speak of ? Is it a print version ? If so, where oh where did you get it ? All I've been able to find is a very sparse Haynes manual and Clarks garage info on the internet.

PM me and I'll help you out...

Another project I've had on the list was to find a correct 30mm raised steering wheel hub liner as mine was beyond repair. After asking around on these forums, I was notified that Porsche makes them again!! They're only about $65.00 so I bought a spare for the shelf...

My SC has a three spoke wheel (stock) and really appreciate it. I added a (rare, for 911's) factory hub spacer which made the ergonomics much better in terms of reach, shoulder/neck comfort etc.
I imagine you'll be driving yours today Patrick? Just a perfect New England early summer day. Best, John |

 Patrick,
Friday at Quabbin Reservoir, central Massachusetts. Took my 20 y/o son and enjoyed the (excellent condition) roads with next to no traffic, grabbed a socially-distanced lunch at a perfect little roadside fish-fry shack. Wore the masks my wife sewed us. What it’s all about, right? John |

You are correct! I actually met up with the Cape Cod Porsche Gruppe (we normally meet every Sat AM but made an exception for today due to rained out Saturdays. The Quabbin is a great destination; let me know when you plan to go there again and I'll take a drive out.
