Installing Bosch Pilote on a 944 NA

Over the years I decided to get ride of those two candle ligths you call driving ligths on my 944.I chose Bosche Pilote ligths as replacement since I could use half of the original casing to install them.A little frabrication was nessary.Adapting the original wires to fit the Bosche & shiming the casing ….I use washers…. so it will have the rigth angles were some of them. Can't remember all mods since it was so long ago but it sure worth doing it ,nigths & days difference for sure. Here we go.

Final result

Never thought I'd say this...but I do like the color (gold?) of your car - could you share the color code? Thanks!

Love the way your car looks without the black bumper pads. Is that a one piece rear bumper?

Nice light mod. How did you do it? Is the lens shown in the last pic the new Bosch light assembly lens? It looks like a perfect match, do the screws match the original lens dimension?

Lol a long time ago for such an old fart memories, but I'll give it a try .No1 I cut the original casing in half, then I rewires the OE wires to accept the Bosch Pilote ligths…..don't know if those ligths are still available on the market today?.Yes it will be a perfect match & if I remember well the screws of the pilot will match the OE holes .Then I had to figure out a way to aim them correctly,I did use some common ss washers for shimming. And yes the lens shown in the last pics are those of the Bosche Pilot which are two separated parts.
