Rear wiper delete

Yes, I know this thread is out there, but I don't see anything recent, and unfortunately the vendors who supplied the delete covers before seem to be largely gone... Not interested in paying $80, but don't want a leaker either.

Who is supplying a good quality wiper delete cover at a decent price these days? Looking for aluminum. I see SickSpeed universal kits on eBay for about $15, and some on Etsy for $25.

Any of the usual vendors still making these for the '86 944?

Thanks for the help, guys. I think that paragon link is to a different company. I did google what they have and it's much pricey. Nothing I can find on pelican. Rennaby looks reasonable, but out of stock.

The plugs are very expensive. I bought a hatch w/o the wiper because my hatch had a shattered window. My hatch had a wiper. I swaped out the hatch and reused the wiper. I sold the OE plug on Ebay for stupid money. Every little OE part is worth something.

I remade the end caps to the rear shade out of aluminum in 2007. The plastic ones broke over time. I had access to a machine shop and made awesome caps. Painted them black - They are rock solid. So, I looked into making them as a replacement but I didn't think I could sell them at what I would sell them at reasonable price point. Currently they are $54 on Ebay. I thought $30 would be expensive - boy, was I wrong

https://www.mcmaster.com/7845K54/ (steel, paint it black)
or
https://www.mcmaster.com/7845K64/ (stainless)

swap the nut for a regular hex to match stock better

stock hole in glass is 1"
OD of rubber washers/plug is about 1-9/16
the plugs linked above are about perfect

My plug was installed by a PO and for some reason has 12.9 printed on the surface. No idea about where it came from (or why the wiper was deleted, for that matter)

I have the same one. For those looking for one, they're popular in the Honda/Acura world and are all over ebay/amazon for like $12.
