Door Panels
I was just wondering if anyone knew where I could get some door panels without having to order them from a dealer($460 each) The little ear that the metal clip is on for the power window switch trim piece just ripped off. So now the little trip piece hangs kinda sidways. It just really bothers me. I was hoping that I could find another place to get them from that was a little cheaper. Thanks for any help.

They are wood fiber and white glue. Build them back up.

There are also a few places that deal in decent used parts - always had good luck with 20th street auto in Phoenix.

Ebay uasally has some door panels in good condition anywhere from $20-40 hope this helps.

Sorry, but no local porsche junk yards around here. I don't even know where the closest one would be. I also tried ebay, but only came up with solid black ones. Mine are black at the top and tan at the bottom. I'll give that 20th street auto in pheonix a try. Thanks.

Thanks, I wish you all could've had a drivers side one. I live in Pocahontas, NE Arkansas about an hour from Popular Bluff. Where in Missouri are you from? I'm leaving on my road trip in about 2-3 weeks, I know that I'll stop at several porsche places (if anybody knows of any please tell) and see if they have one. Went to a sortof porsche place in Springfield MO today, but forgot to ask. Got to see a new Cayenne S. Not too bad, I guess I'd buy one if I had the money to blow.

Sheez, you were right in my neighborhood. I'm 40 minutes west of Springfield. Funny, I had two 944 people from Arkansas come up and see me today, one planned, the other unexpected. It would have been cool to have 3 in a day!
