Porsche Crest surprised it all fit...

My band had a show last night. I figured I would take my car. I was kind of surprised it all fit. 5 drums, cymbals, double-bass pedal, 8 stands, drum throne, various other things. People were in awe that I fit it all. It was a pretty good show, maybe 200 people? What have you all squeezed into your cars?

really?

Actually we use gibson explorer, fender J-bass, and fender tom delonge strat. But I didn't have to take them, the other members took those. I usually take a half-stack with me when I use my mom's van, but I made sure all I had to take this time was my stuff....

Last week my 944 hauled home a hood and passenger-side fender for my buddy's Explorer. Rear seat folded, two passengers and the trunk closed.

These cars sure can haul.

This time it's me

5 sheets of 5/8" 4'x8' plywood
12 2x4x8 studs
2 100# bags of concrete mix
A few other odds and ends.

Lucky I had added 300# coil overs on the back.

if you need more room next time, you can probably fit a couple tom-toms in the wheel wells under the carpets

I could probobly fit some of the smaller stands in there if I wanted to, but that is where I hide my extra oil, coolant, an extra A/C belt and some other various parts...

This reminds me when we fit 7 people in a ford probe when a friend came to pick us up after we got stuck off road really bad.

What is the passenger weight limit on the 944?

I have only fit 3 others in my car...

Yeah, that's where I put my Hayne's manual, CV grease (for when I finally get around to it), and my Weltmeister autcross springs - once again, for when I get around to it.

"Me and 4 other adults. Can you say claustrophobia?"

I have the end-all be-all of claustrophobia stories: 4 people in a 1970 Volkswagen Beetle - with our back packs AND our golf bags!

LOL.
My first car was a '76 lime green bug (and I mean LIME green) with yellow wheels. We stuffed many people in that little sucker several times too. I finally dumped it off about 12 years ago, but I want to kick myself for not keeping it. Original bugs are like big go-carts.
