944S ref sensor testing

I'm trying to test my speed and reference sensors on my 88 944S and im looking at guides and I couldn't find the plug so im testing the computer plug. Only problem is my plug has 3 rows and doesn't have anything in spots 25 or 27. Does the S have them in different spots on the dme plug?

You can test for continuity, but, as the page says, "This test can only be performed with an oscilloscope."

Digital Storage Oscilloscopes are becoming much more affordable, check this one out, which should be adequate...

Nick, can I ask why you're testing these? Is it because of a no-start condition? Have you tried the bench test as outlined in Clark's Garage.
