Does anyone have a g-analyst that they would like to part with?

I assume you mean a gtech pro? I just posted an inquiry tonight. So, what's your thoughts on the gadget? Aloha, Neal

A g-analysist is a device, that measures constant g's in more than one plane. (UNLIKE the G-tech). AND the data is USUALLY transferable to a computer (such as a laptop) to be "analyzed" later. It's also a lot more accurate, and it records g-forces constantly for a given period of time, because of this, you can see just how "smooth" you were.
Anyway, for now they're really expensive, and bulky, though it has it's disedvantages, I like my G-tech for ~$130. Ahmet ------------------ It's all the driver... |

I was referring to the g-analyst, which was manufactured by Cincinnati Microwave/Valentine Research in the '80s. Like 1.2 said, it measures acceleration in two directions, and it has more functions than a gtech. They were actually pretty cheap, and not that bulky. Gtech's are pretty accurate and a pretty good deal, but I was looking for the g-analst.

Everything is relative my friend...
I consider anything inside my 944 that didn't come from the factory "bulky", something that's larger, and heavier is "bulkier"! The original accelerometer cost in the vicinity of $600, but had nowhere the wide use as todays somewhat easier to use, but not as usefull g-tech. Keep in mind, the original(s) didn't have built in display, and had to be used in conjunction with a computer, as well as an external power source, THIS is as far as I know...
