Hi-beam not working on left side
Curious issue...I noticed the other night that only the right hi-beam was working. I figured it to be a bad filament in the left bulb. Replaced left bulb today, problem is still there. I fiddled with the wiring for the bulb, nada.
Anybody have any ideas ?

Each low beam circuit has its own fuse. Each high beam circuit has its own fuse.
If it's not the fuse, pull out the wiring diagram and see what the problem is...

Thanks George ! I never thought about a fuse for each bulb and filament. It gets inspected Friday !

When my hi beams went out the problem was the wiring where it bends. You need to remove the covering around the wires. When I inspected the wires all three were completely bare at the bend.
tried uploading picture, did not work. If you want to see a picture of MY problem check out this thread post #82 https://rennlist.com/forums/924-931-944-951-968-forum/1077271-944-cabriolt-refresh-and-turbo-swap-6.html Last edited by 91cab; 09-30-2021 at 10:19 AM.. |
