electrical problem

my windows go up and down very slowly when i use the controls from the driver side, but not from the passenger side. they also stop if i have the brakes on. it is like there is not enough power. once in a blue moon they will work right but i can not locate the problem. does this sound familiar to anyone?

try lubricating the window rails with some silicon spray. its sounds to me like the rails are dry and the windows stick.

Well, he might be right, but also It might be a bad/loose power connection on the window motor, or even a high resistance fuse, but the fuse is really reaching.
