968 Question

My project continues at a snails pace and I’m being challenged by a single issue with my stand alone ECU. *The problem is a CAM Position Sensor signal. *
Question: *if you have a running 968 and a volt meter, can you post the voltage on Pin 1 of the cam sensor with the ignition key on? *This would be on the harness side. *Pin 1 is voltage and Pin 3 is ground. *
Thanks in advance for any help.

Pin 1 should be +5vdc. That's what the wiring diagram states.

Sorry for the confusion. 5v is the output per diagram. I need the input voltage.

Actually, no. The 5 volts is the reference voltage for the sensor. From pin #1 on the sensor, it goes to pin 12 on the DME/ECU, that pin is shared with the throttle valve potentiometer, and it would make no sense that it was the sensor output. The hall sensor output from pin #2 goes to pin 8 on the ECU.
