Do I have a fat @$$??

Or are the seats in the 944 narrow?

I did a 300 mile trip yesterday, and found the lower bolsters on my 944S2 Porsche Scrip Fabric seats VERY uncomfortable. The bolsters press on my hip bones. I'm not a little guy, but not huge. 36" waist, 5'11, 200 lbs. I'm thinking of getting some of those beads to raise my @$$ or is there a way to adjust the lower bolster? The backrest is just about perfect, it is just the lower.

Other than that, the drive was flawless, this thing rides, drives, feels and works like a NEW car with 40K miles on it. Very impressed. Cruise held solid at speed for miles on end, AC was kicking the whole time, quiet, composed, and other than butt pain was a pure pleasure.

play with seat front and back positions - you may find that raised front edge of the seat will provide more "thigh" support and "alleviate" "pressure" somewhere else.

Raising up the seat in the rear might help

I have the same all cloth seats in my 944 and they are the most comfortable seats out the seats of any car I own. I had to play with the seat position, but once it was right, I feel as if they are near perfect.

I've got this same issue - I'm a large(ish) guy (6'1" and 192 lbs), with wide enough hips to want something a litter wider in a seat for my '87NA, and in retrospect I kinda wished I'd put a bit of extra padding between those bottom bolsters during my reupholstery project.

But I've heard that Boxster seats might fit - and while I don't know if older models would be any wider, I do know that the seats in my son in law's 2018 718 GTS (which he allowed me to drive!) are quite comfortable.

Always do, not a factor.

the seat from old 911 should fit. I wonder if 914's will fit.
Our favorite president Obama took care of "fat-wallet" syndrome - they became much thinner. After all, he did care about our health from a chiropractor's point of view. Is there "tongue-in-cheek" icon???
